The internet has created an information overload poblem. The purpose of our technical links page is to provide resourcing for area hams, especially our newer licensee's.
Why do we have links to commercial 2-way radio resources? Well, until you have used a good commercial radio right next to even the best "ham" rig, you would never know that many of these commercial radios will receive a signal clearly, with little noise, when your ICOM, Yeasu, or Kenwood is S1-S3, chopping, and unreadable. Oh, did I mention that many commercial radios have 100 watt transmitters?
These links are to web sites that are very technical, but they are the best sources of reference on the internet when you are choosing a commercial radio to put on the ham band, or need programming information.
